Steps for Resetting Password or Unlocking Pattern on Android Devices Without Losing Data:

Before playing with Android Settings, ensure that you are sure about it, other wise read the information twice even though you have any problem just comment in the below box, if error occurs simply stop the process and restart your device. Here is no requirement of computer but simply you need a Android Phone with SD Card so that you can reset Android.

Step 1 : The first step you need to do is download the Aroma File Manager for successful operation. Search on Google for Aroma File Manager and download it.

Step 2 : Once you have downloaded the file, transfer it to SD Card and insert the SD Card in to your device.

Step 3 : Turn Off your Android device.

Step 4 : Boot your device in Recovery Mode, there are different ways for different devices to boot into Recovery Mode but I ensure go along with Google and your Android device name. Once you got it, enter into Recovery Mode which has a black interface.

Step 5 : If you boot successfully in recovery mode, use your volume button to scroll up and down and to select use power button.

Step 6 : Follow all these simple instructions to get into the software requirement. Now Go to “mounts and storage” from the recovery menu and select the following options in sequence: “mount /system” >> “mount /data” >> “mount /efs” >> “mount /preload” >> “mount /sdcard” >> “mount /external_sd”. After all the volumes have been mounted, scroll down through the options and select “Go Back”.

Step 7 : Next, you need to install the Aroma File Manager app from the ZIP file. To do this, select “install zip from sdcard” >> “choose zip from sdcard”. From the list of files, select the zip file that you have copied earlier to the /sdcard directory, and choose the Install option.

Step 8 : Your device will now install and launch the app directly from Recovery mode. In the app, select Menu >> Settings and scroll down to choose the option “Automount all devices on start”. Tap on Done to save the changes. Exit the app to go back to recovery mode.

Step 9 : You need to run Aroma File Manager one more time in Recovery mode. So select the zip file again and choose the Install option. This time, Aroma will launch having access to all the mounted locations.

Step 10 : Go to Data Folder, then select system folder and find the gesture key, if it is locked with the password then long press the file and select delete.

Step 11 : Exit the Aroma and restart the device, once the device is restarted, it will show a pattern on the screen, now you can type any pattern it will accept any input you provide, as well as you can change password. Thus, you can now access the contents of your Android phone without any loss of data.

Thanks for reading! I hope this article will help you to reset password and unlock pattern on your Android phone without losing data.
