Step-by-step Guide To Root Your HTC Evo 4G Without A Computer

  • Firewall and Antivirus is disabled on your HTC device
  • The battery needs to be charged to at least 80% to avoid any interruptions during the procedure
  • Also make sure that you have taken a backup of all the important data like your images, videos, bookmarks, MMS, songs etc. Once that is done, download the USB drivers of your HTC Evo 4G and use a good condition port for connecting the phone to the PC
  • Use the genuine USB cable for connection purpose so that the performance is not impacted in between the process
  • Install the latest version of the Java SDK and Android SDK on your PC and also enable the USB debugging mode in the settings option.

Follow the given steps to root your HTC Evo 4G

Step 1: Google for “z4root” and download it or download and install the 4Shared app on your HTC Evo 4G

Step 2: open the app and type “z4root” in the search tab

Step 3: Many versions of this file will be listed but you need to download “Z4Root ZTE blade” and download its corresponding apk file.

Step 4: Once the download is complete, install the apk in your device and open the app after successfully installing it

Step 5: When you open the app, you will see two options – temporary root and permanent root

Step 6: you can choose either of the option to root your handset.

Step 7: After choosing any option you will see that your Phone is successfully rooted.
